Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Lee Temple Cosper, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. While on vacation with her beloved husband celebrating their 61st wedding anniversary, Bonnie passed away at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS, at the age of 80. She left this world peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 24, 1945 in Lorain, OH, Bonnie grew up as the eldest of five children. She met her husband, Lou Cosper, in 1963, and together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and devotion to family. Bonnie was known for her kindness and compassion, always willing to help anyone at any time completely, selflessly. She found joy in being a wife to Lou and mother to her three children and her home was always a place of warmth and love. Her greatest pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lou Cosper; three children, John (Cynthia), Missy (Danny), and Chris (Kelly); eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Temple Wooten and Barbara Temple Henslee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Audrey Temple; one sister, Cheryl Temple Gaines; and one brother, Lee Temple. Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Bonnie Lee Cosper and share memories of her remarkable life on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven. A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven. Bro. Bill Christian will officiate. Interment will be at Desoto Memorial Gardens. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.
