Kristen Lacy was a devoted wife, loving mother, beloved Gigi, and deeply cherished friend whose presence left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a fiery spirit that matched her natural red hair. In later years she was plagued by health issues that limited her external interactions. A visitation will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service following at 12:00 p.m., all at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road East, Southaven, MS 38672). For 31 years, she shared a strong and loving marriage with her husband, rearing two children and building a life rooted in loyalty, commitment, and family. Kristen was a wonderful mother who loved her family fiercely and wholeheartedly. She had a strong will and a determined spirit, never afraid to speak her mind or stand her ground. She was both stern and funny, balancing high standards with a sharp sense of humor that could make those around her laugh when they needed it most. Kristen loved to watch her daughter play softball and her son play football. She was an Alabama football and college softball fan. Kristen approached life with strength, resilience, and purpose. She was truly a force to be reckoned with—confident, capable, and unafraid of challenges—but beneath that strength was a deeply kind and loving heart. Kristen had a special love for animals, especially big dogs. Her compassion extended beyond animals to the many people whose lives she touched, her husband and children will forever be touched by the loss of her in their lives. Kristen is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Paul Lacy of Southaven, MS; her daughter, Chandler (John) Belk of Walls, MS; her son, Carter Lacy of Olive Branch, MS; her parents, T.R. and Cheryl Baskin and her brother, Graham (Amanda) Jones, both of Arlington, TN; her nephew, Peyton Jones of Fort Stewart, GA; her three precious grandchildren, Jackson Belk of Walls, Cohen Lacy and Luke Lacy, both of Olive Branch; her black lab, Drake; her cat, Nick; her small dog, Saige; many friends and a host of extended family members. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
