Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven Robert Milton Grisham, 54, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in Southaven, MS. A visitation and potluck will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road East, Southaven, MS 38672). An additional service will be planned for a later date in New Orleans, LA. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of local arrangements. Please bring your favorite dish to share. Robert was a man who truly enjoyed life and the people in it. He never liked to miss a party and was often at the center of gatherings, bringing his signature dry wit and unmistakable sense of style and humor. His presence alone could lighten a room, and those who knew him well will always remember his clever remarks and playful spirit. He had a special place in his heart for celebration and traditions of Mardi Gras, proudly serving as King Morpheus XXIII during Mardi Gras 2026—an honor that reflected his vibrant personality and love of festivity. Professionally, Robert was a dedicated and talented cosmetologist. During his 23 years at Richard’s Style Studio in Southaven, Mississippi, he built not only a successful business but also lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. He also shared his knowledge and passion for the craft as a former cosmetology instructor, influencing and mentoring many in the field. Outside of work, Robert found peace and joy in nature. He loved spending time outdoors, especially in his yard tending to his chickens. It was there, surrounded by the simple beauty of nature, that he was most at ease. Above all, Robert will be remembered for his love of family, his humor, and the way he made ordinary moments feel special. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Robert leaves behind his committed partner of 24 years, Richard Allen Gilbert of Southaven, MS; his son, Richard Milton “Richie” Grisham of Tupelo, MS; his daughter, Sonja Denise Grisham (Chelsea) of Southaven; his father, Jerry Milton Grisham of Corinth, MS; his sisters, Katriena Reniae Burgess (Mike) of Corinth, MS and Jerri Denise Grisham of Hanceville, AL; his four grandchildren, Joy Taylor, Ethan-Benjamin Carr, Dallas Carr, and Calliope Rae Grisham; a niece, Hillary Lovorn (Brandon); nephews, Konnor Knopf, Dalton Knopf ; great-nephews, Dakota and Case Lovorn and his closest cousin, Danielle Westfall (Rodney), as well as many extended family members and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elberta “Peaches” Carver Grisham.
