Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven Teresa “Terri” Faye Sitzes, 62, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at her home in Southaven, MS. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m., all at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road, East, Southaven, MS 38672). Bro. Al Canon will officiate. Burial will be in DeSoto Memorial Gardens. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements. Born on June 18, 1962 in Phoenix, AZ with a kind and selfless heart, Terri spent her life putting others first, always making sure those around her felt loved and appreciated. Terri was known for her boundless generosity, her infectious laugh, and her love for life's simple pleasures. Whether it was a bargain on a new pair of shoes, a perfect piece of jewelry, or a cozy afternoon spent shopping for the perfect gift, she always knew how to find joy in the little things. Her greatest joy, however, was her family, especially her grandchildren. "Gammy" loved spending time with her six grandkids, spoiling them with affection and sharing the wisdom of her years. Terri was also an amazing cook, and her famous lasagna was a dish everyone looked forward to. Her love was reflected in every meal, and her home was always filled with warmth and laughter. Terri's selflessness, generosity, and ability to bring light to every room will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories that will continue to inspire us all. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gary Sitzes of Southaven, MS; her two sons, Adam (Lyndsy) Sitzes of Senatobia, MS and Weston (Jessica) Sitzes of Olive Branch, MS; her mother, Mary McBride Parsons of Southaven; her twin sister Sherri (Ron) Harrison of Southaven; her older sister Debbie (Jett) McNeal of Southaven; her six grandchildren, Mason Wallace, Levi Sitzes and Lily Cate Sitzes, all of Olive Branch, Sawyer Sitzes, Shaw Sitzes and Caroline Sitzes, all of Senatobia; and her two best friends, Paula Stoy and Libby McCammon Darby.
