Ron was known for his deep devotion to others, Ron loved his friends endlessly—there was nothing halfway about his loyalty, kindness, or sense of humor. He gave selflessly, always putting others before himself, and lived every day with an open heart and an open door. Ron was a family man through and through. He was happiest surrounded by those he loved. To his daughter, extended family, and many others in the neighborhood, he was more than a father; he was a mentor, a protector, and a steady, caring presence—“the neighborhood dad” to many. His warmth made everyone feel like family. Ron had a deep love for the open road, especially on his Harley-Davidson. His motorcycle rides weren’t just a hobby—they were a source of freedom and reflection. Whether riding solo, with Penny, or with friends, he cherished the wind in his face and the quiet moments of escape those rides offered. Professionally, Ron was a master negotiator and a respected car salesman, known for his natural ability to connect with people. He didn’t just sell cars—he built relationships. His customers came back not just because they trusted him, but because they genuinely liked him. His integrity was his calling card, and his sincerity left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Ron also took great pride in his home, especially in creating a backyard oasis that became a haven not only for him and his wife, but for family and friends alike. He poured his heart into making it beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming. One of his favorite ways to unwind was sitting down by the boat dock in the evening, his wife Penny and his beloved dog Hannah by his side—soaking in the stillness, the sunset, and the life they built together. He loved to tinker and “piddle,” often spending hours in the garage or yard, fixing, building, or just thinking things through. He took pride in the little things—especially the deck he built himself, a quiet but enduring symbol of his craftsmanship, patience, and care. Ron leaves behind his loving wife, of thirty years, Penny Kay Stein of Nesbit, MS; his daughter, Jennifer “Jenny” Marie Alexander of Murfreesboro, TN; his precious grandson, Gavin Alexander of Murfreesboro; his beloved dog, Hannah; many friends; and extended family to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stein. Ron Stein’s life was a gift to all who knew him.
